Apache is a free, open source and cross platform web server software developed and maintained by the Apache Software Foundation, released under the permissive Apache License. All of our Linux servers run both the Apache and nginx web servers, with Apache handling all requests that require execution of PHP scripts. We occasionally post Apache configuration tips and tricks to help speed up your websites or server response times.
